Greetings  Abundant Life Family:

In Paul's second letter to the Corinthians (2 Cor. 9:8), he declared  "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always have all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work".  As  born again believers in Jesus Christ, the Lord God has called and assigned us a specific work to do in the earth realm for His Kingdom. The work involves giving of our time, our self, our resources, and more.  Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them".  God promises  to make all grace abound toward us; in other words,we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.  Even though, we may  experience resistance, trials, tribulation, and/or heartache in working for the LORD, be of good cheer because  "the LORD declares...My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness" 2 Corinthians 12:9.  In other words, God's grace give us the will to do all that He has called us to do.

Our Declaration:  I will abound to every good work, for God is able to make all grace abound toward me that I have sufficiency in all things, in Jesus Name!

Focus scripture:
Isaiah 1:19. If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land...

Be Blessed,

LESSONS FROM JOSHUA

Joshua 1:-8-9

This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that thou may observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.  "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Joshua is given instructions on how to be blessed, prosperous, secure, and free. The first step was to keep the word by meditating on it night and day, observing the laws (mandates), and obeying the principles (which become keys that unlock spiritual doors, and bring about bountiful blessings).  The second step was a command to be strong and very courageous... in whatever God was requiring of him and leading him to do. Why?
